IrriFlex® Flexible Root Canal Irrigation Needle
Join the Glide-Cleaning Revolution

Developed and manufactured in Switzerland, IrriFlex® introduces a revolutionary change in root canal irrigation. It replaces traditional metal needles used in root canal treatment, offering a more precise and effective irrigation through its flexible design.

Flexibility

Unlike conventional metal needles, IrriFlex® adapts easily to the complex anatomies of root canals. Its flexible polypropylene body allows the needle to reach the apical region without resistance, enabling work without damaging dentin walls.

Effectiveness

IrriFlex® features a tip with two lateral openings positioned consecutively. This unique design directs the irrigant toward the dentin walls in a balanced manner with two precise jets. The needle's tapered shape conforms to the canal, facilitating a continuous irrigant flow. This generates higher shear forces that effectively remove debris, smear layers, and biofilm.

Technical Specifications

  • Chemical Compatibility: Suitable for 17% EDTA, (heated) 5.25% Sodium Hypochlorite, 2% Chlorhexidine, 40% Citric Acid, Dual Rinse® HEDP, and Distilled Water.
  • Ease of Irrigation: The needle’s ability to move easily along the curved walls of the root canal and precisely place the irrigant simplifies the procedure.
  • Effective Cleaning: Ensures the removal of smear layer and biofilm, providing full disinfection before root canal filling.
